Gale
Fuller, mezzo-soprano,
is
enjoying a career rich in concert, opera and oratorio. Hailed by
audiences and critics alike for the sumptuousness of her singing, she
has been described as the "sultriest voice in town" by
Richard Dyer of the
Boston Globe. Ms. Fuller has performed with many opera companies and
orchestras throughout the United States, China and Japan.

The unique
color and fullness of her voice, combined with striking agility and
range has enabled her to encompass music of many periods and styles.
She has been engaged by San Diego Opera, Austin Lyric Opera,
Sacramento Opera, Opera Colorado, Opera Syracuse, Boston Lyric Opera,
Opera South, the Boston Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, the Telemann
Orchestra of Osaka, Japan, Lake George Music Festival, the Milwaukee
Symphony, the San Antonio Symphony, the Chamber Society of
Connecticut, the Boston Ballet, the Binghamton Philharmonic, the San
Diego Chamber Ensemble and the New England String Ensemble. Ms
Fuller made her Carnegie Hall debut in Mahler's Eight Symphony with
the Boston Philharmonic and was presented in recital at Carnegie's,
Weill Recital Hall under the auspices of the International Center for
Contemporary Opera.

She is a frequent artist with many choral
and orchestral organizations in New England. Recent engagements
include several critically acclaimed performances of Verdi's Requiem,
Dvorak's Requiem, Elgar's Sea Pictures, Ravel's Scheherezade,
Vivaldi's Nisi Dominus and the Beethoven Ninth Symphony.
Other recent performances have included
Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti with Intermezzo, Metella in
La Vie Parisienne with Opera Boston, recitals at
the Wellesley Library and Framingham State College and Mozart's Coronation's
Mass with Chorus North Shore.
In 2007, she created the role of Evelyn Inman in Thomas Oboe Lee's The
Inman Diaries for Intermezzo. She returns in May, 2008 in the
premiere of Charles Shadle's A Last Goodbye.

Ms. Fuller holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of
Music, the New England Conservatory of Music and is a winner of
the Liederkranz competition and the International Center for
Contemporary Opera. She has been named by Musical America as an
outstanding artist. Ms. Fuller serves on the faculties of
Wellesley College and Gordon College.
